In future, anyone looking for original ATE parts can find them easily on the Internet thanks to standardised software from TecDoc, the market leader for catalogue software in most European countries. To save its customers time when searching for brake parts, the ATE brand of the Frankfurt-based brake specialists Continental Teves has revamped its online presence. The ATE parts catalogue is now available in twelve languages instead of five, can be called up using the user-friendly TecDoc interface, and is updated at regular intervals. As a result, the online version offers better service and more customer benefits than the TecDoc General Catalogue on CD-ROM, which is updated quarterly and still includes the ATE portfolio. The required ATE part can be located in the online catalogue by inputting the vehicle model and year; the vehicle manufacturer's original spare part number; or the ATE article number or reference number. Users can also see at a glance if a part is suitable for models from different manufacturers, each of whom has assigned its own OE number. Members of the ATE CustomerClub can obtain even more up-to-the-minute updates on innovations in the ATE product range. By clicking on the "Product-News button in the CustomerClub area of the ATE website (www.ContiTeves-AM.com) which also features a link to the new online catalogue, they can find full details of new products and updates.
