Free of charge - The ATE Knowledge Express Card

14.09.2006 - How does an active wheel speed sensor actually work? What is the troubleshooting procedure? What tools are available to help me? These and many more questions about electronic brake system components are answered comprehensively and in simple terms by the ATE Knowledge EXPRESS Card which is available to ATE workshop customers. The pocket-sized mini-CD can be used on any normal PC, is in two languages (German and English) and has an easy-to-operate user interface.

Better still, the new card is provided free of charge to workshop customers who purchase ATE ABS wheel speed sensors. "We are happy to pass on our know-how and invest in building up our customers' knowledge," says Jens Naber, Product Manager Hydraulics. "The CD provides a good outline of the field of electronic brakes. It offers users a basic knowledge of the functions of passive and active wheel speed sensors and how they work, as well as familiarizing them with systematic troubleshooting procedures, offering useful assembly tips and providing information on our wide range of helpful tools. Information on our training courses can also be found on the CD. Ongoing training in the electronics sector is essential for independent workshops that want to remain competitive. Our training sessions provide customers with the necessary basic and up-to-date knowledge for their work."
