Perforated brake discs are more effective in transferring the heat generated by braking to the atmosphere. Other advantages of perforated discs include shorter response times in wet conditions and less susceptibility to fading (as with the ATE PowerDisc). ATE is using this finding from motorsport for its OE-quality spare parts program.

The ATE spare parts range currently includes 16 different perforated brake discs for Mercedes-Benz und Porsche. High-carbon gray cast-iron grades such as GG15HC and GG20HC offer the highest possible quality. To ensure the extremely tight tolerances that apply to OE products, only the most advanced production machines are used. In addition, the discs are made from a high-quality alloy.

These ATE high-performance brake discs are compatible with standard brake pads and are offered as part of the normal aftermarket range.
