When a brake drum is replaced, the wheel bearing may be damaged. It is faster and safer to replace both parts at once, which is why ATE is now offering a brake drum/wheel bearing kit.

The kit includes the brake drum, the assembled bearing and an installation kit with pins, nuts, grease, etc. So it no longer matters if the old wheel bearing gets damaged when you remove the brake drum.Another key feature is that no special tools (such as a press) are now needed when replacing a brake drum. Workshops can simply replace all the parts required quickly and safely. The wheel bearing, which is supplied installed on the brake drum, is of OEM quality.

Of course, brake drums without wheel bearings are still available as part of the standard range.
