The aim of forward-looking product development is to take appropriate measures – by using plant-based oils for example – to minimize a product's impact on humans and the environment. Our research and development departments assume a central responsibility in this regard. In accordance with the Corporation’s environmental policy, their work focuses in part on minimizing or avoiding pollution of the environment.

A product stewardship team supports their development activities, contributing additional expertise in environmental protection and industrial hygiene to the development process, thus ensuring a holistic approach to product responsibility.
